 Flexible and Scalable Platform for Energy Data Management & More

Based on the WEB 2.0 Smart Meter Data Management Platform, the power company is able to manage the meter data from the AMI system, issue electricity services information to the users and implement different tariff according to different time of use or electricity pricing structure. Also, it can provide users with Home Energy Management accounts.  The user can simply log on, and he can get the data from the smart meter. And by analyzing the historical data, he can learn more about the family's electricity consumption and optimize the energy usage patterns. Through Home Energy Management accounts, he can also obtain the energy consumption information of the smart sockets and historical data analysis, and remotely control the on and offs of these outlets via the Internet. The platform can also be extended to water, gas and other household information management.

 Efficient and Reliable Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

AMI allows automatic two-way flow of information between the smart meters and the power company.  The power company can provide real-time energy consumption data to the consumers and the consumers can adjust their energy usage patterns based on the tariff structure. Key features include:

※ Data Collection: two-way metering of energy consumption, automatic data acquisition of consumer energy, power quality data, a variety of electrical and state (event) data, diagnostic checks, data analysis and storage management

※ load control:  fixed power and energy consumption, tariff rate settings, remote control,  auxiliary reminders of payment, prepayment management and control;

※ Data Sharing: The data can be managed and published through the unified platform  and electricity information can thus be shared.

Remote Smart Home Energy Management

With Power Line Communications, a home network connecting data centers and smart power outlets can be built. The smart power outlets can monitor the power consumptions of the home appliances connected and control the on and offs of these electrical appliances. The Data Center can collect the energy data of the smart outlets and meters and transmitted these data to a web-based energy data management platform via the Internet. The user can view the data online through a personal computer and control the appliances if desired. It is also possible to use mobile phones, tablet PCs and other mobile devices to connect to the network platform, access to the energy consumption data, and control appliances so as to improve energy efficiency.

 Fast and Stable Power Line Communications

Based on the power line communication module which is developed with independent research and development effort, a network connecting the home LAN, smart meters and data concentrator can be achieved. The formation of such a network can greatly reduce the system cost, and simplify the installation work.
